Preoperative Biliary Drainage Is Associated with Increased Complications After Liver Resection for Proximal Cholangiocarcinoma
ConclusionsAmong patients undergoing hepatectomy for proximal CCA, PBD is associated with increased postoperative complications. These data suggest that avoidance ofroutine preoperative biliary drainage may decrease short-term complications.
