Conclusionla cause de la calcinose scrotale n’est pas encore élucidée et le seul traitement qu’on peut proposer est l’excision large des lésions.AbstractIntroductionScrotal calcinosis is a rare idiopathic disease. We report the case of a young patient treated by surgical excision. The aim of our study was to discuss ethiopathogenical and therapeutical aspects of scrotal calcinosis at the light of a review of the literature.Observationit was a patient of 28 years old who consulted for painless nodules of the scrotum lasting for four years. Clinical examination permitted to diagnose scrotal calcinosis. The patient was requesting treatment for cosmetic reasons. We performed scrotal excision taking all the lesions and plasty of the scrotum. Calcinosis diagnosis was confirmed by histopathological examination of the surgical specimen. The cosmetic result of plasty was satisfactory.Conclusionthe cause of scrotal calcinosis is not yet clear and the only treatment that can be offered is the wide excision of the lesions.
