Asymptomatic dedifferentiated liposarcoma mimicking renal cell carcinoma—A rare case report and review of literature

We report on a extremely rare case of asymptomatic perinephric dedifferentiated sclerosing liposarcoma which appeared to mimic cystic renal cell carcinoma on clinical and radiological presentation. The patient underwent a right partial nephrectomy and remains tumour free at six months follow up.

This study aimed to offer a reference for the rational indications of AT.Methods: We retrospectively included 1216 stage IB GC who experienced curative surgery from the SEER database between 2004 and 2015. These patients were allocated into two groups: Group AT and Group surgery alone (Group SA). We established a nomogram to predict OS and then divided whole cohort into low-risk and high-risk groups based on the OS predicted by the nomogram. Results: Six variables, which were significantly related with OS of entire patients after matched, were incorporated in the nomogram. These variables were age, examined lymph nodes, tum...

In this study, we demonstrate the use of lipids as co-surfactants for the preparation of mixed micelles to improve the siRNA delivery of cholic acid-based block copolymers. Poly(allyl glycidyl ether) (PAGE) and poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) were polymerized on the surface of cholic acid to afford a star-shaped block copolymer with four arms (CA-PAGE-b-PEG)4. The allyl groups of PAGE were functionalized to bear primary or tertiary amines and folic acid was grafted onto the PEG chain end to increase cell uptake. (CA-PAGE-b-PEG)4 functionalized with either primary or tertiary amines show high siRNA complexation with close to 10...

DTX-NLCswere formulated using microemulsion(ME) template technique and characterized for particle size, entrapment efficiency (EE%), drug content and in vitro release kinetics. Further evaluation of NLCs was carried out b...

Nair, David Peter S.AbstractBreast cancer is the most prevalent invasive type of cancer among women. The mortality rate of the disease can be reduced considerably through timely prognosis and felicitous treatment planning, by utilizing the computer aided detection and diagnosis techniques. With the advent of whole slide image (WSI) scanners for digitizing the histopathological tissue samples, there is a drastic increase in the availability of digital histopathological images. However, these samples are...
