Potential location of Dunkirk addictions' facility receives pushback
Hispanics United of Buffalo is working on a plan to expand its addictions treatment program in Dunkirk with a new methadone clinic.
According to the Dunkirk Observer, HUB is working to acquire a building on East Third Street from The Resource Center, where it plans to house behavioral health services and drug treatment services. The 6,500-square-foot site has been used in the past for recovery services and currently houses a prevention program operated by Chautauqua Alcohol& Substance Abuse Council.
