Law Firm: Misconduct Claims In Underlying Toxic Tort Are 'Defective On Their Face'

SCRANTON, Pa. - A law firm accused of breaching its professional obligations that were part of a contingent fee agreement in an underlying toxic tort lawsuit on June 25 filed a brief in Pennsylvania federal court contending that the claims against it are "defective on their face" and should be dismissed for "any of seven separate and independent reasons" (Stanley Waleski v. Montgomery McCracken Walker& Rhoads, No. 18-1144, M.D. Pa.).
