Safety of performing transbronchial lung cryobiopsy on hospitalized patients with interstitial lung disease.

CONCLUSION: Practitioners should recognize that while cryobiopsies are a high-yield, safe, and cost-effective alternative to surgical lung biopsy, not all procedures carry the same risk profiles.
