Quadriceps Traumatic Myositis Ossificans in a Football Player: Management With Intravenous Pamidronate

This was associated with improvement in clinical features and imaging and a reduced urinary N-terminal telopeptide, a marker of bone turnover. This case demonstrates that bisphosphonates may be a potential treatment option in MO.
