Key objectives include:
? To integrate HIV QI indicators and activities into the hospital-wide general QI program
? Strengthen laboratory and clinical quality management and improvement systems within the curative (e.g. hospital-based) system, including for hospital-based HIV services;
? Support development of guidelines and technical standards for diagnosis, care and treatment for hepatitis, as an important co-morbidity among HIV patients.
