Biochemists follow clues toward Alzheimer's, cancer, longevity
(Rice University) The National Institutes of Health has awarded a five-year grant for Rice University scientists to investigate a biochemical domino effect that may be involved in diseases and conditions ranging from Alzheimer's and cancer to Parkinson's and age-related muscle atrophy.
