Optimal Sequence of Adjuvant Endocrine and Radiation Therapy in Early-Stage Breast Cancer – A Systematic Review
The optimal time to start adjuvant endocrine therapy relative to radiation therapy in patients with early-stage breast cancer is unknown. Patients will therefore start endocrine therapy either before, concurrently with, or sequentially after, radiotherapy. Given that the indications for post-operative radiotherapy continue to expand, the optimal timing of endocrine therapy will become increasingly important.
