Walgreens pharmacy allegedly denies distribution of miscarriage drug

A Peoria Walgreens location is drawing attention for the company after a pharmacist allegedly refused to fill a prescription for a woman in a miscarriage citing a moral objection to dispensing the drug. Nicole Arteaga was denied the prescription at the pharmacy after her doctor had told her her baby had stopped developing and did not have a heartbeat.
