Complementary Medicine in Parkinson Disease: Once Again, Surprisingly Effective

We read with great enthusiasm the article by Ferraz et  al, who demonstrated that 3 physical exercise modalities resulted in significant improvement of the walking capacity, ability to stand up and sit, and the functionality of patients with Parkinson disease (PD).1 Clearly, the authors demonstrated the beneficial effects of physical exercise programs and their significance as a complementary therapy for PD.
