[The liquid biopsies: What is their contribution to the management of cancer?] Rev Med Interne. 2018 Jun 13;: Authors: Wechsler J Abstract The « liquid biopsies » are samples of liquids such as blood, urine, spinal fluid that can contain tumor material. Clinical assays have been mainly focused on the peripheral blood containing circulating tumor cells and circulating tumor DNA. The circulating tumor cells are cancer cells released from the primary tumor or recurrences or metastases. They enter into the bloodstream after passing through the vessel wall. It is possible to analyze the circulating tumor cells by means of all cytologic and biomolecular techniques. The free circulating tumor DNA is made of fragments of DNA released by living or necrotic tumor cells proceeded from any place of the organism. The free circulating tumor DNA and DNA from circulating tumor cells show structural rearrangements among which some are therapeutic targets. Many studies showed that circulating tumor cells and circulating tumor DNA analyses are useful in revealing recurrences and tracking therapeutic targets. In this study, 3D Comparative Molecular Field Analysis (CoMFA) and Comparative Molecular Similarity Indices Analysis (CoMSIA) were employed to construct quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) models of a series of niacinamide analogues as antiandrogens. The obtained models have good reliability and predictivity. In addition, the contour maps from the models can intuitively aid to understand the vital structural characteristics of niacinamides related with the AR antagonistic activities. Our study provides important guidance for the rational design and screening of highly potential active antiandrogens.

CONCLUSION: The results of the Keynote-048 study have already led to the approval of pembrolizumab in the first line for platin-sensitive HNSCC in the USA and the expected approval in Europe will presumably change the therapeutic landscape in the long term. In this study, the levels of radioactivity in the muscle, liver, gonad, and gill tissues of the Whiting fish caught from Rize coast of the Black Sea during the winter season in 2017 were determined using gamma spectrometry.
