Treatment of aortic dissection involving the right coronary
In this report we describe a case of type A aortic dissection with ostium involvement of anomalous right coronary artery origin and intramural pat. After Tirone-David valve-sparing aortic root and arch replacement, the right coronary artery was repaired and re-implanted onto the Dacron prosthesis by interposing a pericardium patch. We suggest a new approach to coronary artery re-implantation, providing a more physiological anastomosis with relation to anatomic pattern.
