Baylor St. Luke ’s reactivates heart-transplant program following review
Baylor St. Luke ’s Medical Center announced June 15 that it has reactivated its heart-transplant surgery program and is accepting donor hearts for transplants again.
The hospital voluntarily suspended the surgery program on June 1. The two-week suspension did not affect other heart-failure procedures, such as he art-pump implants, or any other transplant programs across the hospital.
