Flecainide and propafenone: good twins for premature ventricular contractions ’ killing but not exactly superimposable

We have read with great interest the paper by Hyman et al.1 dealing with a successful employment of Class IC antiarrhythmic drugs (AADs) in patients with premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) induced cardiomyopathy.Their results are of great practical interest despite the small population studied. If the long-term efficacy of 1C AADs as PVSs killer is well known since 80 ’s2, their use in people with left ventricular dysfunction is not established at all.We have two comments for practical use sake.
