Colhado Areas, Débora Cristina Baldoqui, Marta Regina Barrotto do Carmo, Willian Ferreira da Costa, Maria Helena Sarragiotto Phytochemical study of aerial parts of Vernonanthura crassa (Vell.) H. Rob. afforded the known compounds β–sitosterol (1), stigmasterol (2), lupeol (3), α-amyrin (4), β-amyrin (5), 8-α-methacryloyloxy-10-α-hydroxy-13-O-methylhirsutinolide (6), loliolide (7), vitexin (8) and 2-(S)/2-(R)-eriodictyol-7-O-glucoronide (9). The structures of the isolated compounds were established with basis on their spectroscopic data and comparison with literature. Compounds 6, 7 and 9 are being isolated for the first time from Vernonanthura genus.
