Australian Government, Attorney-General ' s Department, Australian Emergency Management. 10/2017 This 48-page handbook, updated in October 2017, incorporates guidelines and considerations for developing community evacuation plans underpinned by an all-hazards approach. It uses the nationally recognized five stages of the evacuation process as a framework for planning an evacuation. It should be used to guide pre-event community evacuation planning, which will in turn maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of any evacuation that may be required. (PDF)
