Recurrence of squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue during pregnancy. Review of the literature
Conclusion: According to the evidence found, most studies have associated the use of Piezosurgery for extractions of third molars with less facial post-operative oedema. However piezosurgery has a longer greater intra-operative time, which can increase post-operative pain and presence of trismus.
