Exploring medical students' barriers to reporting mistreatment during clerkships: a qualitative study.

CONCLUSIONS: Multiple complex factors deeply rooted in the culture of medicine, along with negative connotations associated with reporting, prevent students from reporting incidents of mistreatment.
