Cellular Senescence-Inducing Small Molecules for Cancer Treatment.

CONCLUSION: To date, plenty of effective small-molecular chemotherapeutic drugs were exploited to evoke cellular senescence in cancer therapy through different mechanisms and pathways. Insight into the mechanisms and signaling pathways of these senescence-targeting chemotherapeutic drugs will facilitate the successful treatment of cancers in clinic.
