Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation improved survival in patients with massive pulmonary embolism
CONCLUSIONS: Anticoagulation with ECMO support is associated with good survival rate outcomes compared with medical therapy alone. LIMITATIONS:Relatively small number of patients and retrospective design. CONFLICT OF INTEREST: None.
