168 the impact of weekend admission on acute cholangitis outcomes: a nationwide analysis

Acute cholangitis (AC) is a potentially life-threatening condition that requires prompt management. Weekend admission has been noted to negatively impact outcomes on several medical conditions. Although the effect of weekend admission has been studied at a national level, available studies were performed only on cohorts undergoing ERCP with little statistical analysis and number of outcomes. Therefore, the aim of this study was to assess the impact of weekend admission on AC mortality and resource utilization using a national database.
