Three new 2-(2-phenylethyl)chromone derivatives from artificial holing agarwood of Aquilaria sinensis

Their structures were unambiguously deduced by detailed spectroscopic analysis and the absolute configurations were determined by ECD calculations. Compounds 1–3 displayed acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activity with the inhibition ratios in the range of 30%–45% at a concentration of 50 μg/ml. Graphical abstract
