Influence of ablation technique on treatment failure for perivascular hepatocellular carcinoma
In this study, the authors reported that radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for perivascular (i.e. located le ss than 1 cm from large hepatic veins or portal branches) hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) of less than 3 cm was associated with lower progression-free and overall survival than surgical resection (SR).
