Towards One Health Preparedness

European Union, European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. 05/24/2018 This 22-page report summarizes an expert consultation held on December 11-12, 2017, to further explore and identify priority areas for action for strengthening One Health preparedness in Europe, and to determine what sectors and disciplines should be prioritized for collaboration, based on the key risk drivers and disease threats facing Europe. Participants also discussed what can be learned from the public health response to past zoonotic disease outbreaks, and how intersectoral preparedness strategies can best be implemented in a One Health context.
