ConclusionIn general practice, surgery alone can be regarded as the standard of care for stage II and III gastric cancer patients over 80 years old. The feasibility and efficacy of S-1 adjuvant chemotherapy should be elucidated in a randomized control trial considering the vulnerabilities of the elderly.
