CONCLUSIONS: Local application of sevoflurane in the wound bed appears to exhibit analgesic, antimicrobial, and positive healing effects. It could be a promising alternative treatment to be included as a therapeutic option for wound care. PMID: 31730517 [PubMed - in process]

CONCLUSIONS: This outbreak highlighted communication failures, from hunters to consumers. Awareness should be raised on the relation between trichinellosis and game meat. Trichinella species detection is important for adequate outbreak recording and could contribute to better understanding the clinical and serological signs of T. britovi infection. Abstract Abdominal pain is a common cause for emergency department visits in the United States, and biliary tract disease is the fifth most common cause of hospital admission. Common causes of acute hepatobiliary include gallstones and its associated complications and multiple other hepatobiliary etiologies, including infectious, inflammatory, vascular, and neoplastic causes. Postoperative complications of the biliary tract can result in an acute abdomen. Conclusion: This study found a difference of mean percentage MVC of RF and BF muscles between land and water in different phases of squatting. The water medium reduced the two muscles’ activities to a similar extent. The result showed that the aquatic environment allows an individual to perform squatting with less muscle activation which may serve as an alternative knee exercise option for patients who encounter difficulty in land squatting due to lower limb muscle weakness or a high level of knee pain.
