PC054. Clinical Impact of Routine Cardiology Consultation before Elective Carotid Endarterectomy in Neurologically Asymptomatic Patients
Stroke and myocardial infarction (MI) represent the major complications to be prevented during elective carotid endarterectomy (CEA). The aim of the study was to determine the clinical impact of routine cardiology consultation before CEA in neurologically asymptomatic patients in terms of perioperative and postoperative complications.
