Treatment patterns and health care resource utilization and costs in heavy menstrual bleeding: a Japanese claims database analysis.
CONCLUSIONS: A substantial proportion of HMB patients did not receive the recommended treatments. Healthcare costs were considerably increased in the presence of a HMB diagnosis.
