Spontaneous laryngeal haematoma leading to airway obstruction after vaginal delivery

Laryngeal haematoma is a rare disease, mostly caused by trauma, strangulation, general anaesthesia, coagulopathies, or anticoagulant therapy. It can result in acute respiratory distress which may be life-threatening.
