Former Baptist Healthcare CEO dies

Tommy Smith, a former CEO of Baptist Healthcare System Inc., died Thursday. Smith retired from Baptist Health in 2013 after 37 years with the organization. He was CEO for 18 years. During his tenure, he led three of the organization's hospitals, now known as Baptist Health Lexington, Baptist Health Louisville and Baptist Health La Grange.
