Partners HealthCare looking to acquire a second New Hampshire hospital

Massachusetts General Hospital says it's looking at acquiring Exeter Health Resources in New Hampshire as part of a plan to develop a new non-profit system for the Seacoast region. Exeter Health Resources would form a regional non-profit with Wentworth-Douglass, which MGH acquired last year. The new non-profit would be a subsidiary of MGH, and would fall under the umbrella of Partners HealthCare, the biggest heath care chain in the state.
