CDC: Proposed Data Collection Submitted for Public Comment and Recommendations

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is seeking comment on changes to data collection instruments administered by the National Healthcare Safety Network, which is a system designed to collect, analyze, and report on healthcare associate infections, antimicrobial use and resistance, blood transfusion safety events, and the extent to which healthcare facilities adhere to infection prevention practices and antimicrobial stewardship. Comments are due by July 10, 2018.
