Sex disparity persists in the prevention of cardiovascular disease in women on statin therapy compared to that in men
The aim of this study was to assess whether women differ from men with regard to lowering lipid levels, achieving target of optimal lipid levels, and analyzing evidence-based dose and intensity of statin prescription in primary care patients.
