The transplant coordinators' opinions regarding the decreasing indicator of organ donation from deceased donors in Poland
Despite the good overall condition of Polish transplantation medicine, like elsewhere in our country there is a shortage of organs for transplantation. The situation of healthcare is also in stage of development with problems like not sufficient funding and lack of personnel. The number of 526 organs were in 2015 in Poland, distinctly lower than in the year 2014, when it reached 594 organs.
