Oxycodone is safe and effective for general anesthesia.
CONCLUSION: Oxycodone can be used as the sole opioid in orthopedic surgery with good intra- and postoperative efficacy and safety; ie, without clinically relevant changes in hemodynamic and respiratory parameters.
