Best Practice for Concomitant CABG/CEA: A Case Study/Literature Review
More than 200,000 coronary artery bypasses and over 100,000 carotid endarterectomies are performed annually in the United States. Few combined coronary and carotid procedures have been reported in the literature. Some literature shows that combined coronary and carotid procedures can be done safely with good patient outcomes.
