CONCLUSIONS: Based on the findings of moderate quality evidence, this review found that some non-pharmacological interventions such as acupuncture and extracorporeal shockwave therapy are likely to result in a decrease in prostatitis symptoms and may not be associated with a greater incidence of adverse event. The QoE for most other comparisons was predominantly low. Conclusion The thermosensitive moxibustion at the yuan-source points of the liver and gallbladder meridians significantly improves the sleep quality, relieves the symptoms of anxiety and depression and enhances the therapeutic effects in the patients of insomnia differentiated as liver qi stagnation. Conclusions There is limited evidence from two good quality trials that auricular acupuncture can achieve a significant and clinically meaningful reduction of anxiety in dental patients. There is no conclusive effect of acupuncture when compared with a sham/placebo control.
