Case report: dTMS and improvement of kidney functions in a CKD patient

This is to report a case-study of a patient with stage 3b Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) as well as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) to examine the relationship between the brain and the renal system. This case of significant kidney function improvement following the standard Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) protocol used for the treatment of MDD may suggest a role of TMS in the functional improvement of CKD and requires our attention to other therapeutic effects of TMS on the human body.
