O-1-06. Relationships between sympathetic skin responses and 123I-etaiodobenzylguanidine myocardial scintigraphy in neurological disorders

While various neurological disorders show abnormalities of both skin and cardiac sympathetic nerve functions, their relationship and clinical relevance have not been fully clarified. We investigated the relationship between abnormalities of the sympathetic skin responses (SSR) and 123I-metaiodobenzyl-guanidine (MIBG) myocardial scintigraphy in neurological disorders. We recorded both of these examinations in 19 patients with Parkinson ’s disease or dementia with Lewy bodies, 7 with multiple system atrophy, 7 with other parkinsonism and 10 with others diseases.
