Greater Cincinnati biotech firm developing cure for disease just raised millions

Airway Therapeutics, a Sharonville biotechnology company developing a way to prevent and treat lung disease in premature babies, has raised $11 million in Series B financing from new and existing investors. The firm is developing a protein replacement therapy called AT-100, which is based on research conducted by Dr. Jeffrey Whitset at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
