Why you might think twice about wine with dinner
Having a single glass of wine with dinner every night could cut your life expectancy by about two years, according to an international study linking increased alcohol consumption with a higher risk of developing fatal diseases.
The research, published in the medical journal The Lancet, found that people who drank the equivalent of about six glasses of wine a week or more increased their risk of stroke, heart disease, heart failure, fatal hypertensive disease and fatal aortic aneurysm.
