McLean kidney care company raises $11 million
McLean-based kidney care delivery startup Somatus Inc. has raised $11 million in Series B funding, the company announced Wednesday.
Boston-based Flare Capital Partners led the round, with participation from Falls Church-based Inova Health System, BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners and a new innovation firm founded by Andy Slavitt, the former interim chief of the Centers for Medicare& Medicaid Services under the Obama administration.
