Canadian pharmacist sold counterfeit Botox to local doctors

A Canadian pharmacist was sentenced to three years in prison for distributing counterfeit and misbranded Botox to two St. Louis County doctors. Nikhil Buhecha, a resident of Vancouver, pled guilty Wednesday in federal court in St. Louis to conspiring to distribute counterfeit, misbranded and adulterated Botox into the U.S. The defendant bought the Botox from Turkey and shipped it to doctors in Missouri and other states, according to the plea agreement.
