Mp04-17 burden of systemic comorbidities using the actions phenotype predicts discontinuation of urologic medications following transurethral resection of the prostate
ACTIONS (Anxiety, Cardiovascular, Testosterone, Insulin/diabetes, Obesity, Neurologic, Sleep apnea) is a novel health phenotype score developed to quantitate comorbidity burden in men. The total score ranges from 0-14 with individual 0-2 domain scores and higher numbers reflecting greater comorbidity. We hypothesized that the ACTIONS score would predict outcomes of transurethral resection of prostate (TURP) for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
