Acute Decompensated Heart Failure in the Pediatric Population: A Report from the Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Consortium (PC4)

Acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) is a highly morbid condition among adults, yet little is known about outcomes in children with acquired and congenital heart disease (CHD) complicated by ADHF. We aimed to describe the clinical epidemiology, contemporary treatments, and predictors of mortality in children admitted with ADHF.
