Early detection of Mycobacterium abscessus complex (MABSC) is crucial for patients with chronic lung disease to enhance the opportunity for potential eradication. Colonisation with MABSC is an absolute contra indication to lung transplantation in many transplant centres. CF patients achieve the best overall outcome post LTX. We investigated a subgroup of CF-patients and a minimum of 10 years post-LTX survival, aiming to determine possible predictors of long-term survival and characterize comorbidities.
