Genotypic characterization of Haemophilus influenzae isolates from paediatric patients in Japan.

CONCLUSION: Non-typeable H. influenzae (NTHi), mostly derived from pneumonia and AOM, were genetically diverse, in contrast to the predominance of H. influenzae type b (Hib) among meningitis cases.
