Giant T-wave changes after termination of atrial fibrillation

A 67-year-old woman came to the emergency department because of palpitations, accompanied by chest pain and shortness of breath. This started 2 hours earlier during a heated discussion with her son who is a drug addict. The electrocardiogram (ECG) on admission is shown in Figure  1A. She did not have a cardiac history. No ECG was ever recorded in the past. She was not taking any medication. The troponin value was elevated.
